The ceramics lab at Akron Makers Space or the garden.
What is your most memorable fly fishing story?
The summer after my dad died I booked a guide trip for my family in NC. My dad taught me to fly fish as a kid and was very supportive of me getting back into fishing. I fish with his fly reel. That day I felt like he was on the water with me and I caught a beauty.
What is your favorite fly?
The Hippie Stomper.
If you could fish anywhere in the world, where would you fish?
Belize or Idaho
What other fly fishing organizations are you involved with?
Trout Unlimited, Western Reserve chapter. I serve as the Trout in the Classroom coordinator for the chapter.
Buckeyes United Fly Fishers. There is a great women’s group that I go on travel trips with.
