About the Event
Living in Northeast US, you might think you need to fly to western destinations for a dry fly float trip. When in actuality we have world class dry fly hatches right in our backyard. Nestled in the Allegheny mountains you’ll have the opportunity to cast dry flies to rising fish. Starting in late April when Spring shows up and waters begin to warm, the Allegheny rivers come alive. The first bugs to show themselves are the Quill Gordon’s, Blue winged olives, Hendricksons and Cornutas. On the right days, these mayflies bring all the trout to the surface to gorge themselves. When the trout aren’t surfacing to bugs, you can count on them filling up on nymphs and other macro invertebrates! This trip is one OWOTF and guide Nick Sagnibene have been working up for awhile. It’s going to be a epic time.
Cost: $550 per angler plus tip. The cost includes the float trip and the cabin. Click here to view cabin. *Payment will need to be sent via Venmo or check to Jess Suvak-Tran.
