Ohio Women on the Fly is a 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission to bring women in Ohio's fly fishing community together and to inspire more women to get on the water.

Our Story

Ohio Women on the Fly was founded in 2019 by Katie Johnstone and Jessica Suvak. What started out as an Instagram page, grew to a community neither could have imagined. Women from all over the state have come together to be a part of this group. Over the years we have held fishing meetups, clinics, fly tying nights and so much more! We could not be more thankful for all the support we have received from the angling community here in Ohio.

In 2024, Jessica made the big move to Montana. Katie leads the group and has created a team to make sure OWOTF continues to grow in every area of the state. Meet the team below!
