Bass Fly Tying Class

We are excited to host an in-person tying class with Jamie Eggers of BioMass Fly Tying on Sunday, January 23rd! The class will begin at 1:00pm and conclude around 4:00pm. It will be held at Scioto Made in Dublin.

Jamie will teach 3 different bass flies during the class: Wicked worm, Thin Finz Minnow and the Twisted Reaper.

This class is open to all skill levels. Bringing your own vise and tools are encouraged. *We do have extra vises and tools for those that would like to try tying for the first time. Please let us know at registration if you will need a vise/tools.

Jamie Eggers Bio:

Jamie Eggers started fly fishing in 2011 and immediately fell in love with the sport. Like most people that tie flies, it started with him losing so many flies so often, that he thought if he tied his own, he could save money.. HAHA But with that in mind, once he started tying he realized that he was really good at it, and not only that, but he could tie them the way he wanted. Color, weight, flashy, etc. He started selling flies on eBay and grew from there. He has now sold flies all over the world, and for just about any species you can think of. Jamie specializes in bass flies, mainly because we are so trout poor here in Ohio, and that seems to be what he most often chases. But he loves to fish for trout, and saltwater may be his newest addiction. This sport is his passion, and tying seems to help complete it.
