About the Event
Join OWOTF for a coed fly tying night at Nocterra Audubon Brewing on Thursday, January 8th! This event is an open tie but we have a theme for January if you'd like to participate...
The theme is steelhead flies. Why you ask? Each year our local Project Healing Waters chapter hosts a weeklong Steelhead trip for 3 dozen Veterans. They go through approximately 500 flies during this trip. Tying those flies is extremely time consuming and they just simply cannot get it done on our own. So if you are up for it, we invite you to tie Steelhead flies to help your local Veterans catch some fish! (If Steelhead flies aren't your jam, no worries! Bring whatever materials you'd like for what you want to tie).
Hooks and materials to tie egg flies will be provided.
