Join OWOTF and Jerry Darkes for a Zoom presentation on famous women fly tiers!
This program will take a historical look at women who have had a significant impact on fly tying. Women have played a significant role in fly pattern development, establishing fly tying as a commercial enterprise, and also fly-tying and fly-fishing education.
This presentation is free to attend. We will begin at 7:15pm and conclude around 8:00pm. There will be time for Q&A at the end.
If you would like to support OWOTF, there is an option to purchase a $5 ticket. All proceeds will go toward the direct cost of running OWOTF and future presentations.
Jerry Darkes Bio
Based in northern Ohio, Jerry Darkes has over 5 decades of world-wide fly-fishing experience. He is recognized as an expert on fly fishing the waters of the Great Lakes and also has extensive experience on the inland waters of the Midwest. He has been featured in books, radio, and television shows promoting fly fishing in the area. Darkes has had three books, along with numerous magazine articles published. He is on Pro Staff for Scientific Anglers and Scott Fly rods.
