About the Event
Join Ohio Women on the Fly in partnership with the Miami Conservancy District for a Women’s Fly Fishing 101 Workshop on Sunday, September 20th. Whether you're picking up a fly rod for the first time or want to ease your way back into the sport after stepping away, this clinic is designed for you. Throughout the day, you will learn general information on gear, learn to tie a couple important knots, gain an understanding of fly selection, cast a fly rod, and spend a little time on the water.
Along the way, you'll also learn fly fishing terminology that will help you speak the language of the sport. You will be able to walk into your local fly shop or strike up a conversation with fellow anglers feeling confident and prepared.
The workshop is limited to 12 participants and all gear will be provided.
