About the Event
With trout season right around the corner, we are excited to have Kevin Ramsey, a retired Ohio Wildlife Officer, present on the Clear Fork for our group on Wednesday, October 20th! Kevin will present on fly fishing the Clear Fork River, dry fly fishing, and the art of observation on the stream.
The presentation will begin at 6:30pm and is free to attend. There will be time at the end for Q&A. All are welcome to join for this presentation. If you would like to support OWOTF, there is an option to purchase a $5 or $10 ticket. All proceeds will go toward the direct cost of running OWOTF and future events.
About Kevin Ramsey:
Kevin is a retired Ohio Wildlife Officer and lives in Bellevue, Ohio. He has been fly fishing and tying flies for 42 years and enjoys fishing for trout anywhere and striped bass of the coast of Cape Cod. He is the lead instructor for the state of Ohio’s beginning and intermediate fly fishing classes at Castalia and is a volunteer with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.
Kevin is also a volunteer with the Youth Outdoors program which is designed to teach inner city children about the benefits of spending time out of doors while fishing, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, etc.
