About the Event
The purpose of this workshop is to familiarize anglers, both amateur, pro, and everything in between with the intriguing natural world of non-game fish in streams. Cameron Layne will teach us how to use various fish sampling apparatus to capture colorful inhabitants usually hiding below the water's surface and shadow of game fish. These sampling methods are completely legal with a fishing license, are compactable, a helpful field tool for anglers, and easy to learn how to use. Additionally, we will talk about the importance of these fish and their presence in streams as well as how they support the fishing industry.
The workshop will be held on the Big Darby Creek). We will meet at the Indian Ridge Parking Lot. It will begin at 11:00AM and conclude are 2:00pm.
Indian Ridge Parking Area: VQQP+RH Georgesville, Pleasant Township, OH (off of Darby Creek Drive)
