Virtual Fly Tying

Join Ohio Women on the Fly on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 for a virtual fly tying event! The event will begin at 7:00pm EST and will conclude at 8:45pm EST. It will be held over Zoom.

Participants will need to have their own vise, fly tying tools and thread. We will supply the materials for the flies. Please note this event costs $15 to cover the costs of materials and shipping. 

We will tie a Mop Fly, a Gurgler and an Ostrich Herl Scud.

Melissa Paruleski, an angler based in Northern Ohio, will teach the Mop Fly. Katie Johnstone will teach the Gurgler. Kelly Kingery, an angler from the Dayton area, will teach the Ostrich Herl Scud. Kelly works for the Five Rivers MetroParks and runs their fly tying events.

*Registration will close on Monday, February 22 so we have enough time to ship materials.
