Weekend at Mohican

Registration opens 9/1 at 7pm!

We are excited to host our third annual Weekend at Mohican November 11-13, 2022! We have a cabin for 12 located 15 minutes from Mohican State Park. We will spend the weekend fishing for rainbow trout on the Clear Fork River. It is going to be a fun weekend fishing, hanging with friends and meeting others in the community! A full schedule for the weekend can be found below.

This event is open to all skill levels. Each person will be responsible for bringing their own waders, boots and gear. *We will have a few spare rods if you need to borrow gear. Please let us know when you register if you will need a rod. You will need an Ohio fishing license for the days you plan to fish.

Cost: $100.00 (covers payment for the cabin. Cabin can be viewed here).

Friday

-Arrive at Cabin anytime after 6pm (dinner is on your own this night)

-Optional: Attend Blane Chocklett presentation from 7pm-9pm at Mad River Outfitters (please let us know if this is of interest at registration)

Saturday

-Early group breakfast at the cabin (each person will be responsible for bringing food for either breakfast or the pot luck dinner)

-Fish the Clear Fork River. Bring a lunch if you want to stay out all day or head to the cabin for an afternoon break.

-Optional: Drive to Mad River Outfitters around 3pm for a book signing and tying demonstration by Blane Chocklett (please let us know if this is of interest at registration).

-Pot luck dinner at the cabin around 6/7pm

*If you are interested in a casting lesson or fly tying, please let us know! Jess and Katie are planning to bring their vise for anyone who would like to tie in the evening.

Sunday

-Clean the cabin and depart by 11am

-Fish the Clear Fork River or head home

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registraiton, you will recieve a full refund if you let us know before October 10th. If you cancel after October 11th, you will only receive a refund if we can fill your spot.
