About the Event
Join Ohio Women on the Fly for a Women’s Fly Fishing 101 Workshop on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Hudson Springs Park in Hudson, OH. The workshop will begin at 9:00AM and conclude at 3:30PM. Please arrive at 8:45 for registration.
Registration opens July 16th at 7:00pm.
This workshop will provide beginner and novice fly fishers with some general information on equipment and gear, techniques, and terminology to help them develop a quick, basic understanding of the sport. You will learn how to choose proper equipment, tie a couple important knots, gain an understanding of fly selection, cast a fly rod, and much more.
This workshop is limited to 15 women and the cost is $50 per person (no refunds if you have to cancel). A limited number of loaner rods and reels will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those without equipment.
