Join Ohio Women on the Fly and FFI Women Connect for a Women’s Fly Fishing 101 Workshop on June 8, 2024, at Hudson Springs Park, Hudson OH, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Registration opens April 1st. Workshop is limited to 15 women and the cost is $10 per person. More information will follow registration.
This workshop will provide beginner and novice fly fishers with some general information on equipment and gear, techniques, and terminology to help them develop a quick, basic understanding of the sport. You will learn how to choose proper equipment, tie a couple important knots, understand freshwater aquatic insects to select the proper fly, cast a fly rod, and much more. Equipment will be available for use.
