How long have you been fly fishing?
Since 2019. I had never fished prior to that, so I learned how to fly fish before I learned how to fish conventional.
What is your favorite species to fish for?
Smallmouth bass, Pike, and Musky
Where can you be found if you aren’t fishing?
Honestly, I feel as if that is all I do with my free time!! But, I can be found thinking about fishing and planning my next fishing trip! My fiancé and I plan to catch a fish in every state! I also can be found cooking, gardening and canning, hunting, tying flies (using my own bucktails!), and spending time with my family and friends.
What is your most memorable fly fishing story?
So many to pick from...I was introduced to larger streamers while fishing the Little Red River in Arkansas and have been hooked ever since; however so far nothing tops marking off Alabama on our list of 50 states. Catching my first ever jack crevalle on the fly was by far the coolest fight I have ever had. Saltwater fish are just built differently.
What is your favorite fly?
ANY streamer. No thanks on nymphing:)
If you could fish anywhere in the world, where would you fish?
I want to conquer all 50 states first, then I think fishing in Canada would be so fun! There are so many cool places to fish in North America I don't think I would even need to go over seas!
